Code Of Conduct for Dancers
(Miss Nikki’s Rules) 

1. RESPECT your teachers, fellow students and yourself. NO GOSSIPING! 
2. LISTEN! No talking while the teacher is teaching, demonstrating or choreographing. 
3. PAY ATTENTION when other students are dancing. You will learn something! 
4. WAIT until the teacher opens the floor for questions before interrupting! 
5. BRING a positive attitude to class. "CAN'T" isn’t part of Buckingham Dance Studios vocabulary! 
6. BE ON TIME! 
7. DO NOT hang from the barre and DO NOT run in the studio. You're not a monkey and this isn’t a playground! 
8. NO gum, candy, drinks, food, or cell phones allowed in the dance rooms. 
9. DRESS like a dancer (see Dress Code). 
10. NO STREET shoes in dance rooms and no dance shoes in streets. 
11. And, remember, when you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way.
